04 Mar Save the Date: Global Matrix 5.0 to Launch at ASPA Conference 2026!

We are pleased to officially announce that the Global Matrix 5.0 will be launched at the Asia-Pacific Society for Physical Activity (ASPA) Conference 2026, taking place from December 2–4, 2026, in Hong Kong.

The conference will be hosted at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and will bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates from across the Asia–Pacific region and beyond to advance physical activity research, policy, and practice.

Led by the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA), the Global Matrix 5.0 will be the largest and most comprehensive assessment of physical activity and related indicators among children and adolescents. The Global Matrix 5.0 will include data from a record number of participating countries and will provide critical insights to inform action, equity, and sustainability worldwide.

Further details about the conference programme and the Global Matrix 5.0 launch activities will be shared in the coming months. For now, we encourage Report Card teams and our partners to save the date and stay tuned for updates.
