Congratulations to the Basque Country Report Card team on the release of their Report Card for the Global Matrix 5.0! The Report Card highlights all 1o indicators in the Global Matrix 5.0. The report card highlights several key challenges, including:

  • A decline in physical activity levels with age
  • Excessive time spent in sedentary behaviours
  • Insufficient sleep duration
  • Although gender gaps persist in physical activity – generally to the detriment of girls – this analysis reveals that boys’ situation has also become increasingly concerning in several aspects
