Expression of Interest: Free Equipment Available for Research Initiatives in the Asia-Pacific Region

Deakin University via the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN), the Global Centre for Preventive Health and Nutrition, and in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Society for Physical Activity (ASPA), are seeking to donate used physical activity and health monitoring equipment that are no longer used in their research projects.

They are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from researchers or institutions based in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs; as defined by The World Bank) in the Asia-Pacific region to receive this equipment. Applicants may also request training or support in their submission; while these requests will be considered, we cannot guarantee such support needs will be met. Recipients will be required to submit a brief report (max 1,000 words) within 18 months of receiving the equipment, outlining how the equipment was used and the outcomes of the research to date.

A Microsoft Word version of this online EOI application form can be downloaded here for convenience but please note that all applications must be submitted via this online form.
