Razinah Sharif is Senior Lecturer and Young Scientist Researcher at the Program of Nutritional Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia since 2012. Her main research is on nutrition and genetics and interventions for childhood obesity using physical activity. Another area of her research focuses on the mechanistic profile of nutrition in genome health. Her passion is physical activity in children and she is currently involved with a physical activity intervention in a program to be used in Malaysian school settings.
She is actively involved with the Malaysian Nutrition Society of Malaysia and the Malaysian Association for Obesity to promote healthy eating and physical activity to local population.
Along with other colleagues and mentored by Prof John Reilly (Scotland), she is involved with the development of the first Malaysia Active Healthy Kids Report Card.
