26 Aug Singapore Team Released their 2026 Report Card!
Congratulations to the Singapore Report Card team on the release of their 2026 Report Card! The Report Card highlights how Singapore supports physical activity and healthy behaviors among children and adolescents, with a stronger evidence base than in 2022 due to improved access to and availability of data.
Singapore received A grades for the School, Community and Environment, and Government indicators, reflecting comprehensive school policies, quality physical education, and continued efforts to create and maintain opportunities for children and adolescents to be active.
However, important gaps remain. More than half of children and adolescents were insufficiently active (C- for Overall Physical Activity), while most exceeded two hours of daily screen time (C for Sedentary Behavior). Active commuting received a D+, and Parent Support received a D, highlighting missed opportunities for parents to engage in physical activity with their children and serve as role models. Gaps in data also persist, particularly for Overall Physical Activity, Physical Fitness, and children and adolescents with disabilities.
